ewers picks texas

Transfer quarterback Quinn Ewers will enroll at Texas and provide almost instant stability under center. Something Texas lacked this season.

Ewers, who played his high school ball at South Lake Carroll in the Dallas-Metroplex, skipped out on his senior season to capitalize on a lucrative NIL deal that was offered to him if he enrolled at Ohio State.

The jump came as a surprise to many but with the state of Texas not allowing a student who hasn't graduated to sign NIL deals Ewers decided to strike while the iron was hot. Which I can't really blame him for.

Now, with $1,000,000 in his pocket a new truck and four full seasons of eligibility remaining Ewers will play at school he originally committed to.

THoguh Sarkisian is adamant that there will be a QB battle among those on the roster, the smart money believes Ewers would have never chose Texas had he not had total confidence and assurance that he would be the starter on opening day of 2022.
